Actor Salman Khan will attend a belated wedding reception for his sister Arpita in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh today. Arpita married Aayush Sharma, son of Himachal Pradesh's Panchayati Raj Minister Anil Sharma, last November. The week-long celebrations, in Mumbai and the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, were attended by stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Salman, 49, and several other members of the family will attend the reception as guests of the Sharmas. The actor will fly to Mandi by chartered helicopter from Chandigarh.
Salman, star of films like Dabangg and Kick, returned to Mumbai last week from Kashmir where he was finishing filming his new movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan, co-starring Kareena Kapoor.
Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court will likely decide today whether or not to allow Salman Khan to travel to Dubai for a show later this month. It earlier suspended the actor's five-year jail sentence in the 2002 hit-and-run case.
