The newly-weds are elated
It’s official. Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma got married on September 3 at their Goregoan residence.
Ranvir is 38 years old and Konkona is 30. The two have been engaged since 2008. An elated couple tweeted about their wedding.
“Hey guys. Ranvir and I got married on the 3rd (September). Thanks for all the good wishes! Goodnight,” Konkona wrote on her Twitter page.
“We wanted you to read it here first but... we got married! Yay,” wrote Ranvir on his Twitter page.
“The best wish/advice I've received on marriage so far: Congratulations! Don't do it again,” he jokingly added.
Within minutes of their announcement of marriage, friends from the industry congratulated the duo.
Karan Johar wrote: “...huge congratulations!!! The best years ahead!!”
Genelia D'Souza posted: “Congratulations Konkona, lots of love and happiness to a new life.”
