Actress Priya Bhatija must have been envied by many when she was chosen to portray Rukmini, one of the most prominent characters in the Indian mythology. But seems like luck was not on her side this time around. Constant illness forced the actress to leave one of the central characters in Imagine TV's Dwarkadheesh - Bhagwaan Shree Krishna.
"The shooting of the show is in Baroda and since the day I joined the show my health has given up. I have been suffering from one health issue or the other, sometime food poisoning, fever or infection and hence I have decided to quit the show. It was a mutual decision between the production house and me," recites Priya.
But our sources have another story to tell. According to them some issues between the actress and the production house led to this decision. However, Priya asserts, "It's not true, there was no problem between us and it was an amicable decision."
