South actor, director, choreographer Prabhu Deva is facing the heat from his wife Latha for his extra-marital affair with actress Nayantara.
Not only has Latha moved to a family court to demand a restoration of her conjugal rights and an immediate end to her husband’s romance with Nayan, she is reported to have threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike if Prabhu Deva marries Nayan.
According to Latha, she and her two children are totally dependent on Prabhu Deva and the kids will be orphaned if he marries Nayan.
Latha has begun to find support in many quarters, and on Tuesday many members of the women’s rights organization burnt an effigy of Nayantara and called her a ‘home breaker’.
While Prabhu Deva is aiming for a divorce from Latha, she says she’s not in favour of divorce but wants to live with Prabhu.
