On one hand is a game show solely riding on Amitabh Bachchan’s charm, on the other is a ‘reality’ show replete with controversy, catfights and the oomph of Pamela Anderson and Salman Khan.
In the battle of TRPs at the idiot box, Kaun Banega Crorepati has been topping other shows with a consistent viewership, thanks to the excellent hosting of the show by Mr. Bachchan. Bigg Boss 4, despite a slew of oddball housemates and a dashing Salman as its host, had been trailing behind until Pamela Anderson entered the house last week.
With Pamela’s entry, the show’s TRP moved up and touched the 4.9 mark while KBC remained steady at 4.8.
The shots of Pamela going ‘dhak dhak’ in a sarong or sunbathing in the Bigg Boss house certainly did the trick.
However, with Pamela’s exit, the show’s TRP took a downward slide.
