The South Indian Film Chambers have declared that they would ban all the films featuring stars that have gone to Colombo for the IIFA this year.
Many of Bollywood’s biggest names, including IIFA brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have chosen not to attend.
Tamil star Surya is one among the other stars from down south who has snubbed the IIFA celebrations this year.
“It is politics and I would not want to comment on it as I don’t know exactly what the situation now is since we have been shooting non-stop.” says Surya. “I would support the Tamilians there. But I don’t want to go politically wrong,” he concludes.
