Angrej starring Amrinder Gill, Aditi Sharma, Sargun Mehta, Binnu Dhillon, Sardar Sohi, Nirmal Rishi
& Ammy Virk which released today has struck the right chord with the audience.

Home - wearepunjabis representative saw the first show and was very happy to report that this the best movie (in his words “att” movie) that he has seen in a while now. Directed by Simarjeet Singh & written by Amberdeep Singh, Angrej is a periodic love story set in 1945.

The movie seems little different and unique from other films that have come recently and is based on the Romantic Love Story in year 1945. The film revolves around the central character and how they fall in love while living in conservative society that does not allow an interaction.

Amrinder Gill is perhaps the most underrated actor currently in the Punjabi Cinema. As usual he is at his best in this movie and Aditi Sharma has also acted very well. Notably the 2 leading ladies of the movie are working for the first time in Punjabi Cinema. Aditi Sharma has earlier worked in Bollywood movies, while Sargun Mehta is a household name in TV industry thanks to her roles in Balika Vadhu and many more.

Sardar sohi is playing the role of Aditi Sharma’s father and has played the role to the perfection.

Binnu Dhillon, Sardar Sohi, Nirmal Rishi & Sargun Mehta have acted brilliantly and the debutant Ammy Virk is the surprise package of the movie.

The credit of all the great acting must go to the director Simarjeet Singh, he has been able to get the best from all the actors.

What is unique about the movie Angrej is the way it has been set up, the entire look and feel of old world has been beautifully captured and exhibited.

The music of Angrej has already struck the right chord with the music lovers with songs from Amrinder Gill, Amy Virk, Sunidhi Chauhan which have received very well all across

Its a must watch movie and wearepunjabis would like to give a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Go and watch, you wont regret it!
