Marvel might be collaborating with Disney for some anime movie..
If you were puzzled as to why Marvel is now collecting the low-selling 2008 miniseries Big Hero 6, It’s On the Grid may have the answer.
It appears as if the Japanese superhero team will make the leap to the big screen as the long-rumored Marvel project in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios. The script-tracking website reports Kristina Reed (Kung Fu Panda) will produce.

The Amazing Spider-Man to become a trilogy
After director Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy hit screens in 2002, '04 and '07, starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, the studio retired that Spidey and now the rebooted version of the story, The Amazing Spider-Man, will follow the same pattern, it was revealed on Thursday, as the film opened in countries around the world.
The fourth installment in the franchise, starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, is to continue to weave its web for another two films, according to Sony Pictures on the film's Facebook page.

'Sanctuary' Canceled: Syfy Ends Series After Season 4
"Sanctuary" has been canceled and will not return for a Season 5.
We’re honored to have been part of this incredible series," Mark Stern, president of Syfy Original Content and co-head of Universal Cable Productions, said in a statement. "In addition to garnering unmatched devotion by fans worldwide, 'Sanctuary' was a bona fide trailblazer, setting new standards with its highly innovative production techniques -- including pioneering green screen and RED camera technology -- and Emmy-nominated visual effects. It's been an amazing ride and we look forward to our next project with Amanda Tapping, Martin Wood and Damian Kindler."
"Sanctuary" Season 4 ended in December 2011, bringing in about 1.3 million viewers. The series, which starred Amanda Tapping as Dr. Helen Magnus, a scientist from Victorian England who searches the world for abnormals, had been a decent ratings player for the network. Season 4 of the series often averaged more than 1 million viewers.
Tapping took to Twitter to express her feelings about the cancellation.

Arrow - Casting News - Deadshot Cast
The CW's Arrow hasn't even premiered yet, and already his list of DC Universe enemies is growing. First, fans saw a peek of Deathstroke's mask in the pilot screened at this summer's Comic-Con in San Diego, followed soon after by the announcement during the show's panel that Kelly Hu would be playing drug-cartel badass China White in the second episode. And now, TV Guide Magazine can exclusively report that Canadian actor Michael Rowe (not that Mike Rowe) will be playing the previously reported role of Deadshot in episode 3, titled "The Lone Gunman."

We've gotten word from Kabookit that Emily Bett Rickards has been cast in the show as Felicity Smoak. That name might not mean anything to some of you, but keen observers will realize that this is the stepmother of one half of the hero Firestorm, Ronald Raymond.
