John Abraham's cuts and bruises in Force seem to have worked wonders on the box office. The film opened well and earned Rs160 million (Dh11.75 million) in the opening weekend.
Force is said to be Abraham's biggest opening as a solo lead.
Abraham has tried to prove his versatility as an actor by doing different roles in his eight-year-career and has been successful in his attempts. With director Nishikanth Kamath's Force, the actor tries to get into the hardcore action genre and is once again successful.
Force is a remake of the Tamil film Kaakha Kaakha. Abraham performed stunts without protective cables, and not only lifts a bike of 150 kilograms but also jumps from a height of 45.72 metres onto an air bag without using any cables. He took special training for his role.
