A film-maker, singer, writer and a gadfly for some in the industry, Ram Gopal Varma has his finger in many pies. But will he turn to acting?
The 48-year-old says the very thought of becoming an actor sends a shiver down his spine.
“I clamour whenever I see the camera (from the front) so there is no way that (acting) will happen. No. I will never act... ever,” Varma is quoted as saying by a news agency.
Okay, acting is ruled out. But what about singing? He’s lent his voice to a song in the Telugu version of Rakht Charitra - 2. Will he wield the mike again?
“No, No, No, No. It was just for one of the songs for the movie, that is it. I'm not doing it again,” Ramu said categorically.
Well, we can picture a few of you heaving a sigh of relief!
