Classical crossover group Il Divo have booked flights to Dubai for their debut performance here later this year.
American tenor David Miller, Spanish baritone Carlos Marin, Swiss tenor Urs Buhler and Frenchman Sebastien Izambard and their orchestra will perform at the Shaikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre, on October 5 before more than 5,000 people.
Many said Simon Cowell took a huge risk when he signed the classical singing quartet in 2004, but with 26 million albums sold and counting, it seems his risk paid off.
The concert, organised by Dubaibased M Premiere, will feature songs from their new album, Wicked Game, as well as previous hits.
