Audience loved the movie

It was a refreshing change for the youngsters bored of watching the formulaic romantic movies. I Hate Luv Storys has been received well by the audience especially at the multiplexes. The movie made a bumper business of Rs 22.75 crore in its first weekend.

However, the crowd at single screens seems less interested; so the opening there was low at around 30-50%. No worries because the movie is doing extremely well at the overseas market, especially in the UK and UAE. According to trade reports, the movie’s first three-day business at UK is £200,744, and in UAE it collected $500,000. As per trade analysts, the movie seems on its way to be a ‘hit’.

Coming to Raavan, the film’s two-week total is just Rs 28.50 crore approx. The response from the audience remained thanda. The film is likely to stay under Rs 30 crore lifetime business mark, and is already a flop.

On the profitable side, the Raajneeti magic still continues at BO. The movie did Rs 5 crore approx business in its fourth week, taking its total earning to Rs 90 crore. ‘Raajneeti’ is now the third biggest ‘nett grosser’ in the history of Bollywood.
