Genelia D'Souza turns Portuguese princess

With his next film, ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan is going to take a great leap backwards in time to the 15th century.
The period flick called Urumi will have the lovely Genelia D'Souza playing a Portuguese princess. South actor Prithviraj will play the lead role in the movie.
Santosh Sivan has confirmed Genelia’s presence in the movie. He has also revealed that the movie will be a bilingual to be made in Tamil and Malayalam.
The movie’s title Urumi refers to a long and flexible swords used in Kalari fights down south. The film tells the story of a boy who wanted to kill the Portuguese sailor, navigator and explorer Vasco Da Gama, the first man to find the sea route from Europe to India.
