Asha Bhosle's granddaughter Zanai is set to make her singing debut in Mahesh Kadiyal's film Maaee.
"One of the songs in the film Maaee has been sung by my granddaughter Zanai. Her first song in my film. Record release on September 8," Bhosle tweeted.
Interestingly, Bhosle is also making her acting debut with the film, which is about a woman abandoned by her only son who goes to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Padmini Kolhapure will be playing the role of her daughter.
Veteran actor Dev Anand gave his best wishes to both grandmother and granddaughter for their debut venture.
"Ashaji my blessings to you and Zanai on your latest venture Maaee and may Zanai could be as big and as great like you," he tweeted.
