Jason O'Mara will be making a long trip for a short speech next week.

The star of FOX's new series "Terra Nova," which films in Australia, will be a presenter at the Emmys (which FOX is airing) on Sunday, Sept. 18 in Los Angeles. He revealed that he'll be part of the Emmy telecast during a Twitter interview with Zap2it on Friday.

"Bit nervous but excited," he writes. And, underscoring the length of the trip, he adds, "To get the Emmys and back is a 32-hour round trip on the plane. That's a lot of movies!"

O'Mara joins a group of presenters that also includes fellow FOX star Zooey Deschanel, Julianna Margulies, Ashton Kutcher and Amy Poehler. The 63rd annual Emmys, hosted by Jane Lynch, air live at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT Sunday, Sept. 18 on FOX.
