Deepika Padukone was left blushing when a male fan popped a marriage proposal to her publicly while she and co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh were promoting their upcoming film Lafangey Parindey at a mall in Delhi on Tuesday.
Like a true romantic, the young man bowed down on his knees and with utmost sincerity asked the actress: “Will you marry me?”
At first Deepika was nonplussed by the proposal but she responded quite courteously: “I am not ready for marriage yet.”
But the young fan didn’t give up. He said: “But I am ready for you,” invoking laughter from everyone, including Deepika.
The actress is presently learnt to be dating Siddharth Mallya, son of industrialist Vijay Mallya.
