Producer Arbaaz Khan confirms the sequel
Given the record breaking start Salman Khan’s latest film Dabangg has taken at the box office, producer Arbaaz Khan is very much considering the film’s sequel.
Dabangg is Arbaaz’s debut production and its stupendous run has convinced the producer to go ahead with the sequel.
Arbaaz says the sequel will indeed be made “110 percent”. But when will that happen is still questionable as Salman has a lot of other projects on hand.
Moreover, having already set a benchmark for himself, and probably for the industry, Arbaaz now wants the sequel to be better and bigger than Dabangg. So he won’t rush into making a tacky product just to meet the market’s demand. He would ensure that the sequel has a tighter script and better action than the original.
The buzz is that the sequel of Dabangg will be titled either Robinhood Pandey or Chulbul Pandey.
Actresses are often changed in Bollywood sequels and it remains to be seen if Sonakshi Sinha will be a part of the sequel as well.
