Physically they may not make much sense together, but in terms of chemistry they have it down pat. Or so claim the insiders of Chalo Dilli — a comedy that unites former beauty queen Lara Dutta and comedian Vinay Pathak on the big screen.
Billed as a bizarre journey of a mismatched couple who are travelling to Delhi together, the film seems to be banking heavily on the acting histrionics of the leading pair.
"With Vinay you are bound to have a few laughs with his quick wit and slapstick humour and Lara adds to the glamour quotient. The film is a journey of the two protagonists and it takes a closer look at our colourful interiors en route destination Delhi. Their chemistry is one to watch out for," states the official release.
The film is slated for a April 28 release and has been shot extensively in Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai.
