Roberto Cavalli didn't need a costume for his Halloween party at Cavalli Club in Dubai on Sunday: he came as himself. "Two years ago, I went to a Halloween party as Karl Lagerfeld. This year I am coming as Roberto Cavalli," the Italian designer told tabloid! on the red carpet ahead of the event, which featured a performance by Lebanese superstar Haifa Wehbe, and guests including singer Elissa and Indian designer Manish Malhotra.
Wehbe was also not in costume, although she did have several costume changes — tabloid! spotted her in the club's boutique, hand-picking an outfit for her performance from the racks of sparkly gowns. She eventually settled on a black and gold beaded strapless minidress, and Wehbe performed four songs at the party, getting Cavalli himself up on stage for a dance.
The second annual Cavalli Halloween party drew hundreds of revellers in more traditional Halloween costumes, with crowds queuing to enter the club until after 3am.
