Rs. 300 crores at stake

The year 2010 started on a good note for Shahrukh Khan with his film My Name Is Khan becoming a hit. So expectedly, his fans are eagerly waiting for his superhero flick Ra.One.

Though the movie has a very slim chance to release this year, the Bollywood badshah seems to be the hottest property in B-town as his upcoming films have been sold out for humungous Rs 300 crore. Rubbing your eyes with disbelief! The Eros International has reportedly got the movie Ra.One for Rs 175 crore, and the movie’s shoot is yet to complete.

If the above figures shock you, then there is also Don 2 which is bought by the Reliance Big Pictures for Rs 125 crores. The amount is more than what the company paid for the box office bummer Kites. Though Don 2 is yet to roll, no doubt the movie to be directed by Farhan Akhtar looks promising just like ‘Don’.

Well, not for nothing is SRK the King Khan.
