Anil Kapoor given tetanus shot after bitten by Shakti Kapoor
Ever heard of an actor biting his co-star? Not just a perfunctory bite but a real one that leaves a person bleeding and in need of tetanus shot!
It happened on Friday at Filmistan studios where Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and other co-stars were shooting for director Anees Bazmee’s film No Problem. While shooting a scene in which a wheelchair-bound Shakti Kapoor bites Anil’s sleeve to draw his attention, Shakti sank his teeth (pardon the pun) so well into his character that he actually ended up biting Anil on his forearm.
It must have been quite a ferocious and shaktishali bite for it tore through Anil’s overcoat, sweater and shirt to make a deadly contact with flesh.
Panic set in on the sets when the bite left Anil bleeding. A first-aid antiseptic was immediately administered on the wound and later a doctor was called in to give tetanus injection to Anil.
As soon as Anil was fit and ready to shoot again, everyone on the sets of the comedy film had a hearty laugh at Shakti’s expense.
