Aishwarya's comeback in Bollywood

Rampuriya !!
When Aishwarya’s post pregnancy snaps got splashed all over the internet and social networking websites, she had to face a lot of criticisms from her fans as well as the fashionistas. Her fans claimed that being a public figure, it was her duty to remain presentable even after her delivery. Aishwarya never retorted back to such comments. She was busy looking after her little angel and enjoying her motherhood to the fullest.

Aishwarya’s sabbatical from work and life as a new mother:

Aishwarya’s daughter Aaradhya was born on the 16th of November last year. Nothing much is known about the period before that or the coming months when Aishwarya completely secluded herself from the media. She wanted to be totally devoted to her duties as a mother and so work took a setback. She was not at all conscious about her increasing weight and its effect on her career. Rumors say that Aishwarya does not even hire a nanny for her baby. She does everything herself and does not want to miss one moment of daughter’s life. The media had assumed that Aishwarya might not come back into films or make public appearances here or abroad for a long time; but Aishwarya proved them wrong by visiting the Cannes Film Festival this year in May.

Aishwarya’s visit to the Cannes:

After being away from the limelight for quite a long time, Aishwarya made her first public appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2012. Her daughter Aaradhya had accompanied her to the Cannes, but she was well under the wraps and shoved away from the prying eyes of the media. Aishwarya stupefied the public and the fashion critics when she walked the red carpet in a beautiful Abu Jain Sandeep Khosla creation. Her elegant demeanor and feminine grace outshone the extra pounds that she had gained. She was heartily praised by all the fashion critics and her fans were overjoyed to see her at the Cannes. She had also attended a charity dinner organized to help raise money for Aids victims.

Aishwarya’s comeback into films:

Madur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine was initially signed by Aishwarya but his dream project had to be shelved after he learnt about her impending maternity. Bhandarkar accepted having incurred a great loss but he also said that he could never take the guilt of making Aishwarya work in such a delicate condition. It has been heard that Kareena will be replacing Aishwarya in Heroine.

After Cannes, Aishwarya says that she will soon be back in shape and ready for work. She also said that she has been reading scripts and will be meeting the directors of the movies she has shortlisted. Her schedule now is highly hectic, thanks to her daughter who keeps her busier than the times when she used to work in films. Rumors say that both her comeback films ‘Happy Birthday’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Baji Rao Mastani’ will feature Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Nothing has been finalized though and everyone is tightlipped about it.

Aishwarya’s film Robot with Rajnikant had been quite a grosser at the Box Office. No wonder, the South mega star wants Aishwarya back to make a special appearance in his forthcoming movie ‘Kochadaiyaan’. If Aishwarya will say yes or not, that is something to wait and watch. Till then her fans have a reason to rejoice that their idol won’t be away from the silver screen for long and will be back with a bang soon!
