Gives a teaser!

On Monday, there was a special press meet for the launch of Commonwealth Games 2010 theme song but what all got to hear from the music composer A R Rahman was just a teaser. Where is the song?

Seems like the Oscar winner too has missed the deadline. We would have to wait for 10 more days to hear the full theme song. So, the event didn’t turn out to be an actual launch for which a group of ministers, organizing committee key members and media had gathered. Rahman just sang O yaaro India bulaye chorus of the CWG theme song. He has been working on it for the last six months.

Talking to the press, he wasn’t willing to divulge much about the song and said, “It’s energetic, and will get everyone hooked. We are still tweaking the lyrics and we want this song to go further than Waka Waka.” The lyrics are going to be a mix of Hindi and English and will be about the spirit of winning, said Rahman.

He also appealed to the press for not portraying CWG in negative light and rather give a ‘positive’ response to the OC’s effort.

With preparations of Delhi Games already delayed, public has to wait just for 10 days for their CWG Waka Waka.
