PANJABI ALPHABET
Paintii( literally means 35 as can be seen below there are 35 letters in the Panjabi alphabet. The 5 additional seen below these, were introduced later.
As in English, the Panjabi alphabet consists of vowels (Savar ) and consonants (Vianjan ). The first three letters, u, a and e are the vowels.
Now we can move onto the vowel signs.
As in moon, soon, food

Though there are only three vowel letters, by using the vowel signs ten vowels can be made.
as in arm, charm, farm. Kannaa makes the sound longer.
For example
As in will, kill. It is a short sound
As in week, seen. It is a long sound.
As in full, pull
