Life is strange paradox. And one such joke is ROMA people. If someone is interested-please have some time spent on NET about ROMA. For information of those who do now know what I am typing and saying...

1. These were thouands of Punjabi`s who migrated to "W" via Khiabar Pass when Zenghis Khan and others were mutilating plains of North India. They migrated to SIBERIA, CHECQ, ROMANIA, HUNGRY, SPAIN and ITALY....but carried on their legacy of Punjab.

2. Look closely at my avatar image. This is romanian girl wearing punjabi articles on her neck.

3. They are still gypsies...but still their lifestyle and some words in dialects are Punjabi.

Origins

The absence of a written history has meant that the origin and early history of the Romani people was long an enigma. As early as 200 years ago, cultural anthropologists hypothesised an Indian origin of the Roma based on linguistic evidence[33]. Genetic data confirms this.
The Roma are believed to have originated in the Punjab and Rajasthan regions of the Indian subcontinent. They began their migration to Europe and North Africa via the Iranian plateau around 1050

Yes- wiki has lot of information on ROMA besides ROMA WEBSITE
There had been little effort from our side to have a reasearch on them but what ever work is done has confirmed many facts that their language and practice still carries words and dialects of PUJNABI and still they have some common rituals with us. Please see attachment and note ..ornaments of this girl.
