This is really really old one but Its still one of my favorites.


The faded stand alone.

I was once the one that shone the brightest,
But now I stand faded,
Almost forgotten.

I am the unheard.
Every word I say seems to be a drop of blood,
In an ocean of nothingness.
Does it affect you at all?
Doesn’t the taste of my pain taint your apathy?

I am the unseen.
You walk right through me,
Like I was a mist you don’t see.
Do you not feel me reaching out,
Trying to stop you from walking away?

I am the faded,
And I stand alone.
I no longer shine in the eyes of the one,
Who in mine shone the brightest.

I am the faded…
And this day that I fade away into nothingness,
How can you blame me for not being there?
How can you blame me for there being nothing left?
