He's watching you
Smile
Say something funny
She's looking you up and down
Fix your hair
You look pretty
He called on you
Say something smart
Were talking
Don't sound too cynical
Too depressed and twisted
Not to fake either
Something hurts in your stomache
You tell yourself its nothing
Yes! He's coming this way
Your joke distracts him
Were all chuckling
Laughing
Dense narrow minded fools
Your eyes hold something more
Something endless
An infinite stream of water
Impossible to see the end of it
Coldness
your head hits the pillow and sinks
Going through minute by minute of the day that preceded
Were you real? Fake?
You were real, weren't you?
They were my jokes, I thought they were funny
I would have made them anyway
Smiled and laughed and said that anyway
Maybe A modified version of me
That's good enough.
Isn't it?
