Forever Mystified

The angels, how they favor me!
The blessings they bestow
Her smile sings the sweetest song
Her presence warms my soul

My joy, my life, completely whole
God's breath in her is life
A family, a dream come true
She makes it feel so right

To hurt, to laugh, to scream out loud
To praise, to sing, to smile,
These colors she has brought to life
My precious angel child

Enchanted by her countenance,
Her skin, untouched by life
Her tiny hands, they hold my heart
In darkness, she's my light.

I stand amazed at God's good grace
This miracle of life
Reminds me that the world is good
Amidst the carnal strife

Her love does not discriminate
She proves our future bright
For everywhere this angel treds,
She'll spread her inner light

Embrace this purity long and hold
Until the later days of old
And cherish this gift of goodness true
Only seen in the heart of you

As experience will change her life
So has she changed mine
Forever 'mommy' I will be
Forever mystified!
In honor of my sweet daughter, Keeley. I will always love you!
