To close my eyes and only dream.
Of a scenic place, calm and serine.
A tranquility that let's one breath.
No time or wonder there to deceive.
Open space in my mind.
A wonderful essence beautifully defined.
Where it takes me, I never know.
Anywhere my senses can unfold.
Build it block-by-block or scene-by-scene.
A familiar place or unknown fantasy.
An endless escapes from day to day.
Destination pending, do not delay.
If I only live therefore to dream.
I will find the many pleasures that lie between.
The open space that fruition does make.
And knowing it can lead me to anyplace.
