Sirsha Angusthasana means "head to knee" pose. It is beneficial for people with desk jobs, as it relieves tension from the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands and wrists.

It encourages fresh blood flow to the head and revitalises tired eyes. It increases flexibility of the back, strengthens the legs and improves balance.

Sirsha Angusthasana

- Stand with your feet one and a half metres apart. Interlock your fingers behind your back and raise your arms.

- Turn to the left and turn your left foot out slightly.

- Inhale deeply. While exhaling, bend forward, raise arms, turn palms outwards and take your head down to your foot. Simultaneously bend your left knee. Hold posture for as long as comfortable. Release hands and return to an upright position.

- Repeat on the other side.

Benefits
