Seven To Eight Hours Of Sleep Recommended For Better Health

Most of us are aware that getting too much of sleep or lack of it on a regular basis means welcoming anxiety, weariness, edginess and other health problems for oneself. But here’s one more revelation now from a recent deduction of a study conducted by British researchers stating that too much or too little sleep can augment your risk of death.

On the basis of their study, the British researchers claim that the right prevention course for a person is to just nap seven to eight hours daily to maintain good health. It is learnt that the team of British researchers examined around 8,000 people falling in the age-group 35 to 55 for a number of years before coming to this conclusion.

Participators who napped for around six, seven or eight hours every night at the beginning of the study, a decrease in nightly sleep time-span was connected with a 110 per cent increased danger of cardiovascular-associated death. Those who slept seven or eight hours per night, a boost in nightly sleep duration was linked with a 110 per cent extra risk of non-cardiovascular death. On average, adults need seven to eight hours of sleep per night to feel well-rested and alert.
