Obviously it didn't, Guru ji was tortured & possibly subjected to savagery.

dariya kande di sand naal torture would not be much of a torture.

mainu samj ni aandi ke why Sikhs try to undermine the Sacrifice of Guru ji by claiming ke taavi thandi ho gayi si ( that he didn't felt any pain or distress)

but sand in may june get more hot. but pathar wali gaal vi taan hai. I am not doubting the historical reference he had put. just correcting my knowledge.
