ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਾੳੁਥ ਕੋਰੀਅਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅਾਪਣੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਲੲੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਕਣਨ ਮੰਗਵਾੳੁਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਮਿਲ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਲੋੰ ਰੇਟ ਘਟਾੳੁਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵੀ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਰਜਨਟੀਨਾ ਤੋੰ ਮੈਹਿੰਗੀ ਕਣਕ ਮੰਗਵਾੲੀ ਗੲੀ
ਨਾਲੇ ਵੈਸੇ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਨੀ ਕੁ ਕਣਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ-ਸੱਤ ਪਿੰਡ ਰਲਕੇ ਵੀ ਨੲੀਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ੲੇਨੀ ਕੁ ਕਣਕ ਅਸਟਰੇਲੀਅਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਮੁਲਖ ਚ ਇੱਕ ਗੋਰੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਰਮ ਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ
ਪਰ ਓਹ ਵੀ ਕਦੇ ਅਾਪਣੇ ਅਾਪ ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਨੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ , ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਹੈ ਕੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਕੌਮ ਸਿਰਫ ਖੂਹ ਦੀ ਡੱਡੂ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਯਕੀਨ ਤਾਂ ਖੂਹ ਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦੇਖੋ

ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਖਰਚਾ ਰੇਜ ਸਪਰੇਅ ਤੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤਾ ਬੱਚਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਕਿ ਅਸੀ ਖਰਚੇ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਆ.. ਇਹ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਆ ਵੀਰ ਜੇ ਰੇਅ ਸਪਰੇਅ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਫਸਲ ਘੱਟਦੀ ਵੀ ਆ ਤਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਖਰਚਾ ਵੀ ਘੱਟ ਹੁੰਦਾਂ..ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀ ਕਦੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੋਚੀ ਰੇਅ ਸਪਰੇਅ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਦਾ ਗੁਜਾਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਵਧੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਉਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਥੀ ਪੀੜੀ ਲਈ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਜਮੀਨ ਛੱਡਕੇ ਜਾਉਗੇ,,,ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਗਾਲਾਂ ਕੱਢਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਦਾਦੇ ਪੜਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਰਕ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ
ਮਾਲਵੇ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਣਕ ਤੋਂ ਅਲਰਜੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਣਕ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ... ਜਰੂਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਰੇਹ ਸਪਰੇਹ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਆ ..

Its nt the wheat quality. Punjab produce very good quality of wheat The thing is that there is diffrence between sample of wheat and actual consignment..

I had written extensive post refuting some of your points and supporting some. But I deleted it since then you would not read these studies. These are seriously good studies on Punjab. Pesticides are unavoidable, Punjabis are not warm to technology and use incredibly harmful pesticides, lot of which are banned elsewhere in World. Pg 37 of second PDF tells a whole lot of story on inefficient agriculture prevalent in Punjab.

Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Batala, Jalandhar and Ludhiana found 29 percent to be infected with HIV and 49 percent with Hepatitis C.
This is just the HIV Rate, Cancer Rates are highest in Punjab especially in the Malwa Region.
At 90 cancer patients for every 1 lakh population in Punjab, it's more than the national average of 80 per lakh. The Malwa region of the state - known as the cancer belt - has the highest average of 136 cancer patients per 1 lakh people. Source Punjab Govt Study.
If this continues a large amount Punjab's Population will be Wiped Out. If you live in the Malwa Region you are most likely drinking contaminated water and you are at high risk of Cancer

Let's work towards helping the farmers. Let's find the solution to some of the problems. Start with seeing what are the difficulties being faced in each district of Punjab, and depending on the nature of difficulties maybe something can be done.

I want to see Punjab prosper, and for that kisan has to prosper. A lot. So let's bring in rational ideas to solve some of the problems. Crowd sourcing of ideas will help a lot.

2) Decreasing crop yields, crop quality and price/hectare.

^Regarding #2, we won't be able to do much at all. It is a government decision. Even regarding infra it is a big investment, major losses happen in transmission/transformers and not on the farmers' end.

Rest are good points. Let's see some more problems and probable solutions. Let's help our Punjab a bit.

probably farmers need to be aware that 'free electricity' is not really free.
subsidy comes from other taxes and funds meant for development. (power infra. ?)

Worst thing is free electricity, ppl put automatics to moters and water goes to roads,,other pplz land,,,mean total waste

Goverment shud do sumthing,,,,like introduce sum kind of recharge systems like recharge and use moter, like we use mobile recharge and call,,,sumthing like dis,,,

Only den ppl will learn cost of water and stop wasting

In my farms level droped
In 2011 moter was at 80 ft
And now its on 170ft.
And decreasing year by year.
In month on june and july water level goes down by 30-40 ft..
