</td></tr> <tr> <td> Sikhpoint.com is again at your doorstep with a heartful of wishes and a mind spilling over with devotion, on the eve of the Martyrdom of Elder Sahibzadas Baba Ajit Singh Ji and Baba Jujhar Singh Ji. Both the gallant sons of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji attained martyrdom on the battlefield of Chamkaur Sahib on 22nd of December 1705. This year, the Sikh community is celebrating the 301st Martyrdom Day of Sahibzadas. We, at Sikhpoint.com take this opportunity to wish you a many times on the eve of this ever-memorable historical event.

</td></tr> <tr> <td> As we all know, On 5th December 1705 Guru Gobind Singh Ji left Anandpur Fort with Four Sahibzadas, Mata Gujri and many Sikhs believing Mughal Generals' specious oath of not attacking the family. But, in spite of their oaths taken with Quran in their hands, Mughals did attack and Guru Ji defeated them. After being separated from his family, Guru Ji took shelter in Chamkaur Di Garhi (the fortress of Chamkaur). Mughals attacked Garhi with a larger battalion and laid a siege. Guru Ji and elder Sahibzadas along with some 40 Sikhs fought a hopeless war bravely. Here, on 21 December 1705 Elder Sahibzadas Baba Ajit Singh and Baba Jujhar Singh laid down their lives fighting against an elephantine Mughal army. This tragic occurrence is remembered in Sikh community as 'Saka Chamkaur' . Presenting their innocent lives for the pride of 'Panth', Sahibzadas made true the words of Bhagat Kabir:
