Interview with General SK Sinha, one of the finest Indian soldiers who advised the prime minister against the move of going into Sri Darbar Sahib. For that reason, he was not made the Army Chief. A very good friend of General Shahbeg Singh. In this interview, he describes a personal account of the events that took place. A must watch for everyone that is interested in Indian/Sikh history. I think majority of the blame should go to the person/party who violated the democratic rule and imposed emergency plus took away all the civil liberties, authorized killings of its own citizens and made a mockery of the constitution. I agree on the part that army follows the orders its given. However, the amount of misinformation that Brar has been spreading post retirement in his books and interviews is ridiculous.

Have you read his book?

He tries to discredit General Shahbeg Singh, who played a vital role in liberating Bangladesh . Tries to tie everything wrong in India with Pakistan. Totally denies the deaths of innocent civilians and refuses to take responsibility.

Ofcourse, why wouldn't he? Paid by the Indian Government/Congress to do its bidding. On the other hand, the man whose interview i posted has a very unbiased view of things. He told the Prime Minister what he thought of her actions and hence saved innocent lives. He NEVER refused to follow orders either just used his brain and whereas Brar brought in tanks to kill INDIAN citizens.

Leaving the battle/struggle is called cowardliness. And Guru's Sikh is preached to die in battlefield then to leave.
"Surra so pehchaniye jo larre deen ke het, purja purja katt marre kabuh naa shaade khet"

Guru Sahib also tells that a cowardly, life full of insults is the last thing to live.
"Je jive patt latthi jahe, jeta haram teta kich khahe"

How come a Guru's Sikh like Bhindranwala can leave the struggle and live life without respect?

Guru Gobind Singh Sahib could have left the Garhi of chamkaur before war started, he could have saved 40 sikhs (including his sons & family) and thousands of enemy lives. But my dear friend, it's not the life but its the truth which is supreme.
High is the truth and higher is the truthful living.

A Sikh or a truth seeker should never be afraid of dying, SGGS bani says:
“Jis marne se jag dare, mere mann anand.
Marne hi te paiye, purn parmanand”

Life is meaningless without truth and mission.

Hun 24 ghante koi meri rakhya lai ta nahi khar sakda, its better ke main apna bachav aap hi kara.
Fer sikha nu ta Guru Sahib da hukam aa (starting from Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji) ke mere deedare lai shastardhari ban kar aau.

There is no point in discussing the presence of arms in Golden Temple complex. Je koi hor shanka aa te dasso.

BTW, Do you know what was the whole struggle for? And why it could not be resolved by bilateral talks?
