Once a saga did a lot of penance in the junglee.He got some siddis. he become egostic that he got so many spirtual sidhis. In order to check his spirtual strength, he want to do some experiment. he saw few birds , and said Die you birds. Immidiately the birds died with curse.It has inflate...d his ego. he start thinking himself next to God.
While returining to city , he passed by a well in a village . There was alady drawing water from the well. He asked her to give her some water . The lady replied as she was filling water for house , let he wait than she will give him water.
The sage get infuriated. He told he r donot you know how big sage I am .
The lady replied that she kne about his spirtual power as he had killed many birds in the jungle
The sage get astonished , how she came to know about his spirtual strenght
he asked her what siddhis she had as she kne about him so well
The lady replied that she didi not do any particular penenca , but do her houehold chores with her best , and the time she get after that she did meitate on God
She never had gone to junglee, but she did her duty daily with diligence along with fixed time for meditation
The sage lost his ego and knew there are many more servants of God better than him
