So the day is finally here when the fortunes of many will be decided. Exit polls say that it is the end of road for Mayawati in Uttar Pradesh, but some parties have rejected the exit poll results as whimsical and unreal.

Today’s result will also determine BJP’s identity as a national party as in last year’s assembly poll they fared pretty badly. We will also come to know if Rahul Gandhi’s magic works for the congress and if his yatras in UP will pay off.

To know all this and more stay tuned for our live coverage on the results:

The ruling BSP, which had 206 seats in the 403 strong Assembly in 2007 polls, was ahead in only 27 seats and seems to be losing in 47 seats out of a total of 170 seats for which trends are available.
