Stories of ‘forced’ or ‘aggressive’ conversion have long been circulating among Asian communities and usually allege that young Sikh women have become Muslims under duress. In recent months rumours have reached a new intensity - the fresh controversy has centred on claims made in May this year, after she disappeared from home, that a young Sikh woman from the West Midlands had been groomed for conversion to Islam. Reports of that allegation led to a protest by over a hundred Sikhs outside the headquarters of the West Midlands Police demanding they deal with the alleged perpetrators of so-called forced Islamic conversion.

Although she refused even though she was being blackmailed because her boyfriend at the time had taken intimate photos of her and had threatened to show them to her parents if she had did not leave home and convert.

Trapping naive Non Muslim girls in the web of love inorder to convert to Islam is the modus operandi of the said organisation. Already more than 4000 girls have been converted to Islam by this Jihadi Romeos.
Special branch of Police started investigation when marriages of such large scales are reported within last 6 months. As per the instructions to recruits of this organisation, they have to love a sikh/Hindu/christian girl within the time frame of 2 weeks and brainwash them to get converted and marry within 6 months. Special instructions to breed atleast 4 kids have also been given. If the target won’t get trapped within first 2 weeks, they are instructed to leave them and move on to another girl.
College students and working girls should be the prime target. Once completed their mission the organisation will give 1 lakh Rupees and Financial help for the youth to start business. Free Mobile Phone, Bikes and Fashionable dresses are offered to them as tools for the mission.
Money for this Love Jihad comes from Middle East. Each district have their own zone chairman’s to oversee the mission. Prior to College admission they make a list of non-muslim girls and their details and target those whom they feel vulnerable and easy to be brainwashed.

'Love Jihad' racket: Hindu, Christian groups find common cause
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 'Love Jihad', a religious conversion racket which lures gullible girls by feigning love, has brought rivals Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Christian groups in Kerala together.
The two have decided to join hands to combat the ‘‘social evil’’, which they claim is hitting their respective communities hard.
‘‘Both Hindu and Christian girls are falling prey to the design. So we are cooperating with the VHP on tackling this. We will work together to whatever extent possible,’’ K S Samson, an office-bearer of Kochi-based Christian Association for Social Action (CASA), a voluntary Christian association, told TOI.
Samson said some days ago, CASA got to know about a Hindu family in a Christian parish where a school going girl was the victim. ‘‘We immediately referred it to the VHP,’’ he said, adding the saffron outfit has helped them in many cases.
The Parishad on its part has started a ‘Hindu Helpline’, which claims to have received as many as 1,500 calls in last three months.
‘‘Many of these callers wanted to congratulate us for our efforts and some were threats,’’ said Vineesh, who manages the helpline.
The Kerala Catholic Bishops Council has come out with a set of guidelines for Christian parents warning them to be more careful about their wards.
‘‘It’s shocking but it is happening. Many Christian families are getting affected,’’ said Father Johny Kochuparambil, secretary of Council’s Commission for Social Harmony and Vigilance.
‘‘We are careful as this is a sensitive issue and could even lead to a religious conflict. But now that the Kerla high court too has interfered in the matter, we have decided to take a stand,’’ said Kochuparambil.
The high court has asked the DGP to probe the charges and report to it.
