Dear Sikhs, on this day in 1986..a Sarbat Khalsa was called...and the constitution of Khalistan was passed under the guidance of Dhan Dhan Shiri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj!!!
The authorities had put a curfew and public transport restriction across the Panjab, to try to stop the Sikhs gathering at Guru Ram Dass di Nagri, but even then over 500,000 Singhs partook in this Panthic meeting!
The constitution of Khalistan included FREE education all the way to University level, FREE health care for ALL regardless of the citizens
race, faith, creed or caste!!
It also made it illegal to carry out female foeticide and stopped the practice of Dowry!! It also banned the miss-use of DRUGS and Alcohol in its entirety!! All you need to do is look at the Panjab now...and these are the exact things that are finishing us off.
We humbly request you JOIN US, the same as ours to raise awareness of this historic event, and what the people of Khalistan would have benefited from, not JUST the Sikhs but ALL that would have resided
there.
