Vegetable masala idli

- 4 cup boiled rice
- 1 cup urud dhal
- 50 g peas
- 50 g cauliflower
- 2 big potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 200 g onions
- 20 nos cashew nuts
- 6 red chillies
- 2 tsp Bengal gram
- 1 bunch coriander leaves
- 50 g ghee
- 1/4 cup coconut grated
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 1 tsp urud dhal
- 8-10 curry leaves
- salt to taste
- Grind rice and urud dhal separately and then mix together ferment for 8 hours.
- cut potato,cauliflower and carrot to peas size and half boil the vegetables.
- cut onion in to small pieces.cut cashew nuts into small piees.
- grind coconut,fried gram,chillies and coriander leaves into fine paste like chutney.
- Heat 3 tsp ghee in a pan saute mustard seed and urud dhall for 2 minutes till fry.
- Add curry leaves,tomato,onion,cashew nuts,boiled vegetable and saute for few minutes till soft.
- Add ground ingredients to the batter, mix thoroughly cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Then pour the mixes batter into the idli moulds, steam cook and serve hot.
