[FONT="]Rice – 1 cup (soaked for 2 hours)[/FONT]
[FONT="]Tomato puree – 1 cup (Blend the ripe tomatoes, without adding water)[/FONT]
[FONT="]Onion – ½ cup (Finely Chopped)[/FONT]
[FONT="]Coriander Leaves – ¼ cup[/FONT]
[FONT="]Jeera powder – 1tsp[/FONT]
[FONT="]Salt – As per taste[/FONT]
[FONT="]Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp[/FONT]
[FONT="]Fresh Grated Coconut – ¼ cup[/FONT]
[FONT="] [/FONT]
[FONT="] [/FONT]
[FONT="]Method[/FONT][FONT="]:[/FONT]
[FONT="] [/FONT]
[FONT="]Blend the soaked rice, with little water till smooth.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Add all the above ingredients. Add water, if needed to form a dosa consistency. (I never added water, as the tomatoes were water content….. preferably opt for well ripe tomatoes)[/FONT]
[FONT="]Heat the iron griddle or non-stick tawa well. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Pour a spoonful of batter in the centre, spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Pour a tsp. of ghee or oil over it. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Remove with spatula when crisp.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Serve hot with your favourite chutney.[/FONT]
