Strawberry Kilimanjaro

Prep time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
(serves 1)

  • 200g strawberries
  • 5g butter
  • 5g sugar
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 20ml whipping cream
  • 2g almond flakes
  • 20ml orange juice
  • a dash of chocolate powder
1. Chop up 50g of the strawberries.
2. Heat butter in a wok, add sugar, chopped strawberries and mash them lightly. Cook for 2 minutes or until the strawberries form a thick sauce. Turn off the heat, allow
to cool.
3. Put the remaining strawberries in a dessert glass.
4. Mix the ice cream, whipping cream, almond flakes, orange juice and strawberry sauce.
5. Spoon the sauce over strawberries in the glass.
Serve chilled with a sprinkling of chocolate powder.
