Recipe Seven-Minute Frosting Meringue II

Ingredients
2 egg whites, unbeaten
1 1/2 cup sugar
dash of salt
5 tbsp water
1 1/2 tsp light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Directions
Combine egg whites, sugar, salt, water and corn syrup in top of double boiler, mixing thoroughly. Place over rapidly boiling water, beat constantly at high speed and cook 7 minutes or until the frosting will stand up in peaks. Remove from double boiler and add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread. Coconut can now be added.
