Ingredients
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1 cup gramdhal flour(kadalai mavu)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp asafoetida powder
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp salt or needed
- 1/2 cup refined oil
- 1/2 cup or needed water
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients except oil to make a stiff fine dough.
- Divide the dough into lemon-size balls. Roll it out into small thin chapathis .
- Take a knife and cut the chapathis to 4 long strips and then into each piece of 2 inch length.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and deep-fry the packoras till golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot at teatime or store in an airtight container.
