Recipe Pav Bhaji

Pav Bhaji
Ingredients

  • 8 Pav (buns)
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup capsicum
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Everest Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 4-5 cups water
  • Salt
  • Unsalted Butter to toast the pav
  • 3 lemon

Directions

  1. Wash the vegetables.
  2. Pressure cook cauliflower florets,green peas for 1 whistle in 2 1/2 cup water.
  3. After it cools down,mash it with the potato masher.
  4. In a pan,heat butter and add capsicum and saute till it becomes glossy.keep it separately.
  5. Heat butter in a pan and add cumin,after it crackles,add chopped tomatoes and till it shrinks.
  6. Add pressure cooked vegetables and add red chilli powder, amchur powder and Pav bhaji masala.
  7. Pour 1 cup water, sauted capsicum and salt.cook for another 5 minutes till bhaji thickens.
  8. In a pan,add butter and toast the Pav.
  9. Jain Pav bhaji is ready.Serve hot with lemon wedges and coriander.
Note:capsicum will be crispy if we add it at the end.
