Paneer Di Roti
Preparation Time : 25 mint.
Cooking Time : 10 mints.
Serves / Makes : 6
Wheat Flour - 2 cups
Butter - 1 1/2 tbsp. melted
Salt to taste.
For the stuffing:
Paneer 1 1/2 cups grated
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp.
Green coriander - 1 tbsp. finely chopped
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp.
Turmeric powder a little
Salt to taste
Extra ghee or butter for frying the rotis.
Make a soft pliable dough with the wheat flour,melted ghee or butter, water and salt.
Keep the dough covered for sometime.
In the meantime prepare the stuffing.
In a mixing bowl, put the grated paneer, fresh cream, finely chopped green coriander, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Knead the dough gently again.
Then take a potion of the dough flatten a little and put one tablespoon of the paneer stuffing in the centre.
Cover the stuffing well by drawing up the sides of the dough.
Press on a floured board and roll out the into a disc.
Fry the rotis on both sides on a tava adding a little ghee or butter.
Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
