Recipe Palak (spinach) soup

Palak (spinach) soup

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

Ingredients:
1 bunch spinach
1 small onion
1 small tomato
1-2 green chillies
2-3 cloves garlic
1/2 tspn cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 cup of water

Method

  1. Pick spinach leaves and wash them thoroughly.
  2. Chop the onion, tomato and green chillies.
  3. Pressure cook all the ingredients for 8-10 minutes or allow 2-3 whistles.
  4. Open the pressure cooker when cooled down. Blend the mixture with a hand blender.
  5. Add more water as per your taste and boil for another5 minutes.
  6. Serve it hot with a wedge of lime or some cream.
