Recipe Palak Raita

Palak Raita

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

Ingredients:
100 g - spinach leaves
1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
1/4 tsp - cumin
a pinch - fenugreek powder
250 g - curd
2 to 3 - red chillies broken
1 tsp - oil
grated ginger
salt to taste

Method

  1. Wash spinach and cut it in small pieces.
  2. Heat oil, add fenugreek, cumin, mustard.
  3. When it splutters, add red chillies and grated ginger.
  4. Now add spinach and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Switch off the stove.
  6. When it cools down, mix with curd and salt.
  7. Garnish with chopped tomato or carrot and coriander leaves.
