Oats thidhyonam

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

Ingredients:
3 tsp - oats
1/2 - red chilli
1 - green chilli
1/2 inch ginger, grated
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
1 tsp oil
100ml butter milk
Salt to taste
200 ml water
To temper:
1/2 tsp - mustard, uraid dal, asafoetida


Method

  1. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter.
  2. Add urad dal, red chillies and asafoetida.
  3. Add ginger, green chilli and chopped curry leaves
  4. Add oats and water
  5. Finally add salt and cook till oats is done.
  6. Turn off the flame, cool and add butter milk (or youghurt).
  7. Serve with moar milagai
