Lo Ji Laal Maas recipe Moderator special It is a spicy dish so please try at own risk
( it appears more red cuz the pic was clicked in the car , in the sun )
This recipe already exists but mine is different, I made it day before and it came out quite well
Ingredients
500 grams mutton
10-12 dry red chili (whole)
1 cup dahi
4 onions
2 spoon kashmiri red chili(better color)
1 garlic loaf ( mean poora 1 lassan lol)
2 spoons sabut dhania seeds
Mustard oil to fry
salt to taste
Soak the red chili and coriander seeds in water for about 10 mins & then grind to a paste , add garlic & curd & grind some more, add salt to taste.
Marinate mutton in the above for 2 hours ( 1 hour would also do , for the best result do it for 4 hrs)
take sarso oil in a pan & fry the onions ( till they are brown) , take them out & let them cool down
Once done grind the onion in the mixer to a coarse paste.
take some mustard oil in the cooker & add the onion to it , when the onion starts leaving oil on the side add mutton (just the mutton pieces)
cook the mutton till the oil leaves on the sides
Now add the marinade to it , add 2 spoons of kashmiri laal mirch(swaadanusaar, I like it hot so i added 3)
add some water to this to form the gravy. 4 whistles & your dish is ready
for people who have faulty cookers like mine in which the whistle doesn't come, it takes about 30-40 mins on medium flame to cook
